Privacy Policy — Setradar Tickets

Last updated: August 23, 2026 · Deutsche Fassung unten

Who we are

Setradar Tickets (“the app”) is a Shopify app operated by [OPERATOR — legal entity and address]. For ticket buyers, the merchant running the shop is the data controller; the app operator processes data on the merchant's behalf. Contact: [CONTACT EMAIL].

What we store, and why

The app reads only the buyer's name and email from Shopify orders — never addresses, phone numbers or payment details.

Where it is processed

Hosting runs on Google Cloud (region europe-west1, Belgium); the database is hosted by Supabase in the EU. Ticket emails are sent through Resend, Brevo or Amazon SES (Amazon Web Services), depending on the app-wide or merchant-specific configuration. If the merchant connects Klaviyo or Mailchimp, buyers who gave marketing consent in checkout are synced there — a ticket purchase alone is never treated as consent.

How long we keep it

Buyer and attendee data is anonymized automatically after a retention period following the event's end (12 months by default, configurable by the merchant). Ticket and sales records remain without any personal data. When a merchant uninstalls the app, access tokens and stored API keys are deleted immediately and all remaining shop data is deleted after Shopify's 48-hour redaction window.

Your rights

Buyers can request access to or deletion of their data through the shop they bought from; the app implements Shopify's data-request and redaction protocol, so such requests reach us automatically and are answered within the legal deadlines. You may also contact [CONTACT EMAIL] directly. You have the right to access, rectify, delete and port your data and to complain to a supervisory authority.

Datenschutzerklärung (Deutsch)

Verantwortlichkeit

Hosting: Google Cloud (europe-west1, Belgien); Datenbank: Supabase (EU).
